Honestly, I’ve tried so many different make up removers, from your more expensive ones down to the low cost options. I really didn’t find one that didn’t dry out my skin horribly until I started making my own. It’s so incredibly easy to do as well. I wanted to share with you all so that you too could find a low cost solution to removing makeup without sacrificing the moisture of your skin.
Homemade Makeup Remover Recipe
Follow along below with the simple ingredients and instructions to making
- 1 1/2 Tbsp of baby shampoo
1/3 tbsp of coconut oil (you can use olive oil too, I just prefer coconut as it’s not as oily and smells terrific.)
3/4 to 1 cup of water (this is really about what works for you)
Simply mix all the above ingredients together in a spill proof container, and shake up or stir. You can apply the makeup remover like you normally would, typically I love to use cotton balls, much easier all around.
